If you have not used the portal use this button to create your new patient portal in Optimantra

FAQ:

  • How do I initiate refills?

    • To initiate refills or dose changes  please fill out "Weigh Day" form. You can access this form at any time on the patient portal. "Show Menu"--> Other forms--> Custom Questionnaire --> chose practitioner Melinda Curtin -- select questionnaire GHN CHECK IN Weigh day 2024  --> (MOBILE scroll right) there is a blue button to choose "Create form"

  • How do I receive messages ?

    • A notification will be sent to your email.​ You will then need to log into the Optimantra account by using the button above. On the left side  on a phone there is a tab that says "show menu"  there is a tab called messages. 

  • Optimanta- the portal will send you text messages - these are automated and ONE way only.

  • Where will I pay?​

    •  It is mandatory as agreed to in the consent that  credit card information is saved. Depending on the medication you are prescribed you will either be automatically billed on the 1st of the month or  automatically by billed before prescription will be sent.  If you have not yet saved your card information an invoice will be sent to your email. Prescriptions will not be sent until invoice is paid.​​

  • ​​​How do I pay for Prior Authorization? 

    • To request a prior authorization please fill out a form. Log into portal "Show Menu"---> Other forms--> Custom Questionnaire ---> chose practitioner Melinda Curtin --> select questionnaire GHN Prior Authorization request --->MUST SCROLL RIGHT on phone there is a blue button to choose "Create form" Once completed you will be sent a one way text message when complete.​

  • How do I buy compound medication?

    • ​to order  a  vial go on the website  www.guidancehealthnow.com  --> existing patient tab  -->  the bottom button   "pay for services" --> choose which vial  you would like- - it makes you pick a date and time but its not really an appointment. You will receive a one way text message when ordered.​

  • What if I want to talk to you? How do I make a video or telephone appointment?

    • Go to Online booking --> existing patient  --> choose telephone call, video call or "cold call" ( cold call will be at a random time during the day when I have time but will most likely be sooner than appointments are available)

  • Where can I get my treatment plan/ dosing information?

    • ​Log into Patient portal above. "Show Menu"--> Treatment plans​​

  • Where can I find education about my new medication?

    • ​Log into Patient portal above. "Show Menu"--> Documents and handouts

  • How can I tell if my private health information is safe?

    • ​The patient portal is certified HIPPA and PHIPA compliant. That means it ensures the privacy, security, and confidentiality of protected health information (PHI).​

  • How can I tell if my credit card information is safe?

    • Any business that accepts, processes, stores, or transmits payment card information are required to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). The patient portal partners with Authorize.net which provides the secure environment necessary to be PCI DSS compliant.​

  • Can I use my HSA/FSA spending card?

    • Yes.​

  • Do you take insurance?

    • No, we do not accept insurance. We do not submit claims to insurance for our service fees and do not use CPT codes.​

  • What happens if I no longer want to use the program?

    • Simply send a message stating that you would like to stop and all billing will be cancelled. You may start back up at any time, simply send another message.​​
