How does the program work?

  1. New patients sign up using online booking  ---> New Patient Experience  --> Select --> Initial Weight Loss Care

    • You schedule an appointment for an up to 60 minute telehealth video visit.                  ( If you are unable to do a telehealth video you have the option to do an initial questionnaire instead, just let us know)

  2. How can I tell if my private health information is safe?

    • ​The patient portal is certified HIPPA and PHIPA compliant. That means it ensures the privacy, security, and confidentiality of protected health information (PHI).

  3. How can I tell if my credit card information is safe?

    • Any business that accepts, processes, stores, or transmits payment card information are required to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). The patient portal partners with Authorize.net which provides the secure environment necessary to be PCI DSS compliant.

  4. Set up your portal by following the email instructions sent to you

    • This includes: 2 consent forms, clinical profile and Initial weight loss questionnaire.​

  5.  You may or may not need a Prior Authorization- just let your provider know through a message .

  6. After prescription has been picked up from the pharmacy get an updated weight 

    • Easiest way is to wake up, go to the bathroom, take your clothes off and get on the scale​

    • Send a message with the start date and updated weight

  7.  At any time you are having issues - PLEASE fill out a Side effects form
  8. ​Around your 4th injection fill out the "Weigh Day Form"  for refills and dose adjustmentsYou can access this form at any time on the patient portal. "Show Menu"--> Other forms--> Custom Questionnaire --> chose practitioner Melinda Curtin -- select questionnaire GHN CHECK IN Weigh day 2024-  -->scroll right there is a blue button to choose "Create form"

All communication is done through the portal messaging system but at anytime you want to talk with your provider please book an existing patient phone call through Online booking
